Tools we actually use
We choose technologies for what your project needs. Here's how that works out across frontend, backend, database, mobile and design.
Frontend
The part your customers see and use. React and Vue handle interfaces that update without reloading the page, and Next.js renders pages on the server so they load fast and search engines can read them. That matters if you expect people to find you through search. TypeScript catches a whole class of bugs before they ship.

Backend & Data
Everything behind the interface: accounts, payments, business rules and the jobs that run in the background. Node.js lets us use one language across the whole stack, which keeps the codebase consistent and quicker to work on. We use Python for data processing and for integrations that already have good Python libraries.

Database
Where your data lives, and often the first thing to slow down as you grow. We choose between MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB based on the shape of your data: relational databases where the relationships matter, document databases where records vary. Getting this right early costs far less than migrating later.

Mobile
We use React Native when one codebase for both app stores makes sense, and Swift or Kotlin when a platform-specific build is worth the extra effort. It's as much a cost decision as a technical one, and we'll walk you through the trade-offs before you decide.

Design
Projects take shape in Figma and Adobe XD before any code exists. You see wireframes and a clickable prototype first, so changes happen on the prototype and what arrives at the end is what you expected.

The right tool for the job
We don't force a favourite stack onto every project. We pick what fits your requirements and budget.
Modern, maintained tools
Everything in our stack has long-term support and a large community behind it, so you won't be left maintaining something obscure.
We explain our choices
You'll always know why we recommended an approach, explained in plain language.
